Quality at DAD Manufacturing isn't a final inspection step — it's built into every stage of the process, from the moment a print or PO comes in to the day a part ships.

Our Quality Management System is structured around the framework of ISO 9001:2015, and our processes are designed and operated to meet its requirements:

Document & Process Control — Work instructions, routers, and revision-controlled drawings ensure every operator is running the current spec, every time.

Incoming & In-Process Inspection — Raw materials and components are verified against print before they enter production, and parts are checked at defined stages (not just at final inspection) to catch issues before they compound.

Calibrated Measurement Equipment — All gauges and measuring instruments are tracked and calibrated on a scheduled basis, with full traceability back to certified standards.

Supplier Evaluation — Outside material and processing vendors are qualified and reviewed against quality and delivery performance, not just price.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action — When something doesn't meet spec, it's documented, contained, root-caused, and corrected — with action taken to prevent recurrence, not just a one-time fix.

Traceability — Lot and job traceability lets us trace a finished part back through every process it passed through.

Trained, Accountable Operators — Every employee involved in production is trained to the quality requirements of their role, with competency verified before they sign off on work.

Internal Audits & Management Review — We regularly audit our own processes against our quality standards and review performance data with leadership to drive ongoing improvement.

This system has been put through regular quality inspections and audits by customers holding DAD Manufacturing to ISO 9001:2015-level standards — and we've met them. While we are not currently a certified facility, our processes, documentation, and inspection practices are built and operated to that standard.​​​

DAD Manufacturing's engineers are experienced with SolidWorks modeling software which works seamlessly with our ERP System, Global Shop, to convert customer blueprints into shop packet documents. This state-of-the-art engineering design and management control program ensures efficient production with close attention to customer specifications.

A = Aesthetic – This finish is not sanitary and this material is a standard mill finish. It is cold rolled, annealed and descaled. Designated surface will have a consistent straight grain. Light scratches, minor grain misdirection, and discontinuity in the finish at and around welds are acceptable. Minor pits (UN-CLUSTERED) are acceptable.

S = Sanitary – This finish will not have any pits, scratches or imperfections. This is used frequently in pharmaceutical or food equipment industries

NOTE: All sanitary (S) metal finish options assume the 'Ground Weld (Sanitary)' weld finish option​

Metal Finish: The higher the RA value, the lower the cost. Below is a list in order of least expensive to most expensive

2D, 2B, 4B, and Bead Blast are the least expensive finishes

4A and 4S are the middle priced finish

8A, 8S are the most expensive polished finishes

Weld Finish: Non-Ground Welds are always less expensive than Ground Welds
